Do any of you good folks have hands on time with this bearing system. My concern is with the bearing "race" that is created in a titanium handle. Wouldn't the hardened steel bearings deform the Titanium quickly with usage?
Was considering having a custom made with this system but have questions regarding service life. Thanks!

You could simply buy a bag of mild bearings, which will wear far faster then the TI handles would.i have owned several ikbs bali's with no noticable wear on any.A couple makers also use hardened steel washers in the race, they act as a protective lair between handles and bearings.over all, dont stress it,its a saimple effective system!

I use it on some knives myself, and have seen no wear.
I actually have to overtighten them at 1st, then work them a bit to get them to break in.
After that, I've seen no wear.
