Il Bruche de La Montaña en El Yermo de Vazquez

Looks like a fantastic trip. I loved his droplet shot in the end. Something this thread reminded me about is the importance of periodically looking backwards. Sometimes you just miss the most awesome scenary because you are fixated on what is in front of you, then you look behind and think - wow, how did I miss that! I think his words - 'the view on the otherside' sparked this thought.

Cool. Thanks for posting the link Brian. Since I'm limited to 10 pics per post it takes me a while to edit posts to fit on BF. Plus I'm lazy and have to get to work on some sheathes for people. :D

Bruce of the Mountain,

You're very welcome. Thanks for letting me link here.

I had to use Spanish here since my Italian is crap. :D

ilbruche,

Trying to figure out that first picture of your tarp/hammock setup. Almost looks like the hammock suspension is serving as your ridgeline? Is the hammock in there?

I've just started using a hammock, so I'm curious to try to figure out other people's setups and see if anything works for me.

Great pictures! I love CO, my daughter and I spent a couple of weeks out there a few years ago camping all over the state. Time for another trip!

I tried out the single line idea. It didn't work for me. I ended up suspending the tarp with it's own cord.

I plan on taking some pics of my set up later this week.

I found the ENO slap straps work best for me.

Cool, would like to see them. I use two lines right now, well, one line for the ridgeline and webbing/cinch buckles for the hammock suspension.
