IL Hog Fest?!?!?!?!?!

What do you guys think? Should we plan one for Oct. ? Who's free on a Sunday in Oct.? I'll open my place up on our day off. We have a newly remodeled bar area. Pool table, Juke Box and fully stocked bar. We can get some good pulled pork BBQ from a local meat processor I know. Do up some cole slaw. Who's in? Hogs from WI, IA, MO, KY, IN and anywhere else are welcome. Just need to get an idea of how much pig we need.
 
It's just going to be me and Kev? Well, then I'll have to order at least 25# of BBQ. Hey Kev, if no one else comes we can get out the super secret stuff!!! :D
 
Whats with all these great get togethers in the north......hows us po southern folk supposed to ever attend these things (except for Blade):D
 
WHAT ABOUT ALASKANS!!! Complainin' about distance.... Sheesh... I have to take a dog sled team, small plane, boat and jet just to reach the "Lower 48":p :D
 
Were you in Chicago, PG? I think I knew but I don't recall now.

As I grow older, I think I should just get that tattooed on my forehead.
 
Listen guys. I can't help my geographical location. I am smack in the middle of IL and that is all there is to it. Now as for the south, what are you whining about? You have Blade!!!!!!!! You have Knob Creek!!!!!!! I drive down to Hotlanta for the fun, that is a lot bigger deal than some little old get together in IL. :D
 
You're in Springfield?! Heck, that's almost a 'burb from here. Depending on the weekend, I would like to try and make it.

Well, Lets see what are the dates for Sunday's in Oct.? We have the 1st, 8th, 15th and the 22nd. As far as I can tell, I am open all dates. Now I figure we have a full month, let's see what we can do. We'll go with the date that is better for the bigger number of people. So chime in you hogs!
 
afrankoiii, I am still waiting to hear what we are doing with that BS (send me an email man). What date is good for you? All of them?
 
Hell I wish I could find a reason to be in Washington D.C. the week before for "work".

I'd like to meet some of these people. Or is that a bad idea?:rolleyes:
 
If I make the drive down to Knob Creek then the 15th would work for me. I haven't decided if I'm going for sure or not, but that's the only way I could make the party.

If we did it the 15th we could catch some folks who might be traveling down to Knob Creek. How does the 15th sit with the IL hogs who have chimed in?
 
Are pork rinds included?

If so, I'd be interested...although I'd need to iron out the weekend and pending details of the get-together before I could say for sure...

Be my first chance to meet some of you guys face to face though! :)
