Yesterday I bought my first Buck (which is also my first "real" knife) and I just can't get over the quality and craftsmanship. I chose a 110 as my first knife, and it's plain to see I chose wisely. I love the weight and balance, the gorgeous blade and the nail notch that is sure to come in handy when I've got gunk/grease on my hands.

I'm looking forward to ordering a custom 110 when my wallet is a bit fatter, and I've got my eye on the Toothpick/Trapper set I saw at Wal-Mart yesterday.

Buck collecting really seems like a rewarding hobby, and I can't wait to make my next purchase.

Another Buck Buddy in the making.
Stick around the forum...lots of good conversation, suggestions, and help with issues here. Enjoy your 110. Consider the Vantage Avid or Vantage Pro. It's the new hot Buck that we are talking about. I'm delighted with mine.

You made a great choice to be sure. I love the bladeshape on the 110's and the heft. Buck has a solid history of making quality knives made to use. They have never let me down.

Welcome to the best forum online! You have just joined a great group of folks.

Beware! Bucks are addicting. I found this site in September of last year and at that time I owned one Buck. Now I have no idea how many I have, but it's over 200 for sure with more on the way.

Enjoy them!

Yeah, everyday I haunt Ebay and some other places online. My wife just smiles and says I'm a nut. I do need to really put them all in one place and do a "head count" soon. I just found out that I had bought a duplicate of a Micarta 110 that I already had. OH well, if one's good two has got to be better, right?

Yes sir, Welcome to the forum. I have over 100 buck knives myself, and always wandering which one I am going to buy next..........

Welcome to a very rewarding (and expensive) hobby. I'm sure you'll enjoy hangin' out with all us Buckaholics.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I'm really very excited about taking up such a fantastic hobby.

Flatlander, I can't wait to get my hands on a Vantage Pro. They look pretty damned solid.
