Since I moved to Denver, I'm no longer permitted to carry knives with a blade length over 3.5", automatics, balisongs, or double-edged. Legal to own and look at, I suppose (unlike NY), but carrying is non-permissible.

Since I am attempting to be all law-abiding and shit, I are offering the following "illegal" knives for trade:

Microtech Troodon, Black handle, black clip, black tanto style blade, grey screws, firing button, and glass breaker. 04/2007, model # MT135-1, LNIB wih sheath and papers. Functions flawlessly. Even though I have a federal exemption under the "one armed man" clause, Denver PD sez they'll bust me for carrying this. GONE

Parker Imai balisong, grooved and drilled brass handles, grooved latch, unusual profile 3" utility blade. This is an ULTRA RARE vintage balisong imported from Seki City Japan during the early 1980s (# K-533). Unusual handle design makes it virtually undroppable. When I sold off my balisong collection last year this is the only one I refused to part with. Excellent used/vintage condition. Don't know why this is considered illegal. GONE

Fallkniven Garm G-1, 3.5" blackened double-edge that has been reprofiled by previous owner to sharper than factory edge. Rubberized handle with lanyard hole. Two Kydex sheaths -- #1 is a necker with a belt slot (needs a cord or chain), #2 is a tactical belt sheath (I detatched the Tec Lok and put on a Mercharness -- both included). I love this knife, and have been CCWing it on the weekends . . . until I found out I'd get busted for doing so. Technically legal under CO statutes, but the Denver PD consider double-edge to be "designed/intended to be used as a weapon."GONE

Antique billy club. This was carried by an Irish cop in Patterson NJ during the 1930s and given to one of my uncles as a "toy" (different times, then). Well used with chips and dings at the end which had been painted over long ago. Drilled out and leaded (inside brass pipe). Original leather strap dry rotted long ago and has been replaced with a black shoelace. Cool item if you're a collector, which I am not. Has been in my footlocker for well over 30 years.

Cold Steel Culloden. Probably my favorite knife, but 5" blade is illegal here, and I have two. Both serrated AUS-8 with Kydex IWB sheaths. Excellent, no boxes.

Evil homemade punch spike thing. Leather wrapped grip. Spike appears to be made from a sharpened drill bit. Purchased new. No utilitarian qualities I can think of.

And here's a few that are, indeed, legal but I'm growing bored with --

Spyderco Spyderhawk. Paid too much money for NIB from a brick & mortar in rural PA and have used it only to cut tape on USPS parcels. This is being offered as a "user" since there is some tape adhesive on the tip and the blackened pocket clip has a bit of finish worn off from EDC. Excellent condition aside from the pocket clip. VG-10 stainless. Box is coming apart, but I can glue it. #072 if that makes a difference.GONE

Boker "Red Fox" Sharpfinger. This is an ULTRA RARE Sharpfinger variant made in Solingen Germany for Boker/United during the late 1970s or early 1980s. RED jigged bone scales and etching of a fox with the words RED FOX and UC155. This is the only one I've ever seen. Purchased secondhand for too much money and being offered as a "user" due to a few light scratches on the blade.

Schrade Sharpfinger. Ivory Delrin scales, high carbon blade, excellent condition.

Schrade Sharpfinger. "Stag" jigged bone handles, duck laser cutout in tang, Schrade + stainless, New in bag w/papers (I have 2).

"Stag" Bear & Sons Sharpfinger. Appears to be jigged & dyed bone scales. Nice looking knife. LNIB (purchased "NIB" and unused, but Bear QC means new knives are never "mint"). The factory edge was only semi-sharp, so I had a brother put a decent edge on it.

Kissing Crane Sharpfinger. Allegedly "MADE IN USA" with sawcut Delrin scales and beadblasted finish. Brand new, no box.

I'm most interested in single-edged fixed blades with blade lengths of 3.5" or under. Especially interested in Fred Perrin, Bark River, Graham Bros, and Busse.

Specific knives I'm looking for include:

Perrin La Griffe
H.I. R-7
H.I. R-8
Busse Scotch Dispenser
Custom or modded Schrade Sharpfingers
Custom Kydex or leather Sharpfinger sheaths
Emerson La Griffe

Would consider a H.I. Pen Knife or heavy duty camp knife as well.

Not interested in folders . . . but would consider a LNIB Christy knife.

Thanks.

No-one has a Perrin La Griffe or Scotch Dispenser they're willing to part with? Will swap multiple knives. ALSO, some of these are in a 24 hr "for sale" thread as well. Needs me sum PayPal with the quickness!
