Illinois Knifemakers Association?

Is there an Illinois Knifemakers Association or other Illinois knifemaker's group? I've been looking for a group like that, but I haven't heard of any or found any on the web search engines. Anyone heard of anything about something like this?

Don't know of any. If not, get Knives 2002 look up some guys in Il.Maybe you start your own association.Thats how it is usually done,just a group of makers getting together,over beers of course.Dave

Lol. No beer for me, I'm 17. Just trying to find some makers in the area who I could possibly sweep floors for in exchange for some knifemaking lessons.
