Illness in the family.

Smoke sent from Pittsburgh. I hope they can diagnose what is wrong with her to make her recovery as quick and painless as possible

Sorry to hear about your grandma.

I will remember to keep you and your family in our prayers.

My grandma woke up today after the re-heating process. She couldn't talk due to the tubes going down her throat, but she did answer questions shaking her head yes or no.

She may need to re-learn to walk and talk, and it is still not a sure thing, as the ventilator is still going. However, she is trying to breathe on her own.

Thanks, everyone.

Great to hear that she is taking steps in the right direction. We will continue to keep you guys in our prayers.

Quick update --

She had an ulcer which was fixed, she is now talking, although very quite. She is still in critical condition, however she is completely off of the ventilator.
