I'm a bonehead. (Graphic to some)

I'll second that, during my short stint as a wild land firefighter we all affixed those nice big rubber bands around the base of our Pulaskis... I almost lost my grip several times, very long days and enough swings to make the probability of losing ones grip quite high.

I do have a scar from not sharpening it properly though, wire edge sliced me pretty good and I got a bit of blood in my gloves.
