I'm a Case man, what kind of man are you?

I like them all..But I have carried nothing but Bose for the past 5 years...

i think i might just be a Case man.

i have carried several different knives, several different brands, and i enjoy mixing it up.

but i just recieved my third case folder, a large stockman in bonestag/CV as a very generous gift from a friend on the forums here, and after carrying a Buck stockman for a while, i am pleasantly surprised to find the CV hanging on to a sharp edge for much longer (even though the buck was certainly adequate). fit and finish is good, blade grinds are good and thin, loving the bonestag, and the whole knife just feels right.

the other two folders by Case that i owned were nice, but weren't quite right for me. i think this one just may be the one knife that i would be happy carrying the rest of my life...

for the last several months i'm a CASE man. it's funny how things come full circle, started out with case and old timer, then went tactical, no back with the tried and true patterns and brand. really happy with my small collection of users.

I'm half Case and half Kanetsune (traditional Japanese knives). My father is a full blooded Case.

Hmmm.... well, I carry Case the most, and honestly I own more Case than any other, but I have and love Remington, Bear, R. Rider. I also love my Dads Schrade, and Bucks.

I'm a Folder Man. :)

Well lately, I have been a PJ Tomes man, but I also occasionally add a Boker barlow, Case sodbuster, or Joe Allen Backpocket knife in the rotation as well!

Is anyone here going to admit to being a Queen man? :D

How about an S&M guy? ;)

(Yes, I carry them, as well as Case.)

Case, Scrade, Kabar, Boker, Camillus, Victorinox, NYKC, Kent, Queen...

I just like knives. Does it work? Can I sharpen it? Beyond that, I just like 'em.

Yeah, I reckon you could call me a Case man now as they've been in my pocket about 98% of the time over the past two years or so.

More than half my knives are Schrades and I usually have an Old Timer or two in my pockets.

So I am a Schrade man.

I have no idea what I am, but I carry knives by:

Bose, Case, Richard Rogers, Joel Chamblin, Tomes, Canal Street, Amherst, Queen, S&M, Buck, Tony Huffman, Kit Carson, Vic, Bailey Bradshaw, Mike Zscherny.

I just keep them in a box and grab one or two after I get dressed each day.

Guess I'll be the first to man-up and say I'm an Imperial man!

I know they aren't on the top of anyones list but I like 'em. Especially their Frontier/Powderhorn series. They just work.

Hey, ugly girls need love too. Some of 'em really know how to cook too.:p

I'm a Case/SAK man. I've had Bokers, Camillus, and Bucks, but when it comes to traditional slippie, Case speaks loudest to me, and I love my SAKs. Wenger, Vic, whatever.

Welll :D I would say that I do own Some Case blades 15-20 BUTTT 95% of my knives are the Beloved SCHRADE IMHO some of the best production knives ever (USA) made pre mid July 2004 and prior, but I am extremely biased :p :D that is how it goes with Schradeaholics and I are one!:)

I've picked up several OTs in the past year and have to agree. Excellent working man's knives, never very much money. I can't believe how finely finished these little knives are considering how little they cost. We really did lose an institution when this company went away in 2001.

As for myself, I can't really swear allegiance to any maker. I have a lot of Case, but have a lot of Queen, S&M, Boker, some Bull Dog, Eye Brand, CSC, GEC, Opinel, and various others. Maybe some day I'll jump in with both feet and get a custom.

Hmmm....I'd have to say I'm just a knife kind of guy.

I started my life with Slippies and lockbacks throughout my boy scout career (tiger cub all the way up to Eagle). After High school and Eagle scout, I was able to afford my own knives and thus I started swaying a little more tacticle for a few years (more like the past 3-4 as I'm 22 and in college). But recently I've been going back to slippies and more traditional style knives for my users. Right now I'm carrying my Case Folding Hunter from the King Ranch Saddle shop (only place in the world), and my Benchmade 551 Griptilian.

So, for the sake of the OP, I'll say I'm a Case Man (who carries a benchmade for SD ;)).
