I've been blessed with two amazing children. When they were born I felt like climbing Mount Everest and shouting the news to the world. At times like this the heart tends to burst with pride and exuberance. In my opinion, there is no greater gift that God can bestow upon a man than the opportunity of being a father.

Congrats dude. My Son is 21 days old today and I know exactly how you feel. Just wait until the drive home! It was only 5 blocks but I didn't breathe the entire way. LoL
 
Congratulations! I envy you for the feeling you have right now, I remember it well when both my girls were born. Do yourself a favor, take part in everything from day one. Bottles, feeding, diapers, 2 am soothings, everything. That little girl might not know what you're doing exactly, but she will learn that your face is what she sees when things are getting better. Trust me, that's a good thing.
 
Congradulations!!! my wife has been pushing for us to start having kids, my sister has 3 so the thought is still a bit freaky lol so I just tell her I need more pactice first :D
 
Bladeforums was the last thing on my mind but after she was born and they cleaned her up and such I had some free time and came on here to tell the news. Some of the people on here I consider friends even if we've never met, anyway I did treat myself to a little gift , store down the street had some waterstones for cheap! I got a king deluxe 1000 grit that is friggin huge for 25 bucks and a king 4000 for 20! Guy didn't know what he had and I tried to give him a little more but he refused.

You guys are right though it changes your world I told my wife earlier I said everything that mattered before doesn't really matter now.

Blade-fiend I'll share a little something with u , I was in Special Operations for almost 5 years I'm Mr. Tough guy seen it all you know the deal I'm a man ! Right? Wrong when I saw my little girl she melted my heart bro I was crying like a baby myself, then she laid with me and latched on to me and put her head under my chin and its just surreal man , I'm not an emotional guy at all but this litlle girl did something to me, words can't describe the emotion when u see a human being that you created, and since little girls love their daddy's its on when she gets a little older she's gonna be a huntimg
 
Congrats! My boy is 4 weeks today, he was born a month early, he is my first child. It really is amazing eh. Once again congratulations.
 
Allen thanks for that :) I sincerely wish you all the best with your new little one. Ive had a ton of goofy and fun times with my 2 nieces and nephew so far so can only imagine what its gonna be like when I have my own.
 
That's great news Allen, congratulations! I remember the day when my boy was born many years ago. I was so overcome with emotion, I cried too.

Enjoy every moment, they grow up before you know it.
