Just wanted to thank the Striderguys for not cutting me off this week. I picked up a new recurve SMF the other day and when I got it the lockup "wiggled" just a bit. Well, me being the hothead dipsh1t that I am I sent them an email bitching about QC, having to pay shipping twice, and my luck. I kept picking the SMF up though and dicking with it and eventually my brain kicked in and I remembered Mick telling someone you had to flick the framelocks hard a couple of times when new to set the locks. I did that a couple of times and now it locks up like a vault. :thumbup:
Then I wrote them another email telling them how sorry I was for being an idiot.
I got an email from Josh today saying they weren't going to charge me for shipping on a knife I have in the spa currently. They definitely didn't have to do that, I'm the dipsh1t in the situation.
Anywho, thanks for not cutting me off. Yet.... (My MSC Recurve with Ranger Green Handle arrived today. Awesome. :thumbup: :thumbup: )
