Good move. Glad you figured out which part was the keyboard. I know it's been a long time, but practice up, you will have to take over the forums again. No more time out.

I am glad that you have returned. Now if we can get some of the alter egos fired up again :) Bladeforums most famous member is back!
 
Somehow I know this is really VG. That must mean that the computer is there, which must mean that Judy is there. If Judy is there then VG is being taken care of fisrt hand. :cool:

VG, you have a lot of reading to do. To catch up on all that has been written about you in your absense. There are people here that really care about you and all the pain that you have been through over the last couple of years.

Please don't feel that you don't deserve it, you do. I'm sure you never knew the real powers of Vampire Gerbil, but you made people laugh and think and care. For the last two years a terrible chain of events have kept you from posting here, but that hasn't taken you out of our thoughts.

Please don't feel that you owe anything back except a simple, "Thank you". Folks helped because they could and they wanted to ease your pain if it's possible. Some like me did it for selfish reasons, I just wanted you back here and posting.

The person that you need to give a special thanks to is right there with you, Judy. As much as folks wanted to help, Judy came up with the plan and efforts to bring it all together.

Dave, it's great to have you back and posting, I hope you have the strength to post often.

Judy, thank you for making it happen.
 
Yep, it was he, VG, posting last night. As soon as I saw that his gerbilness was logged into the Forums, I bowed out and went to my hotel room.

The very first thing he said when he read this thread was, "Look at all those VG Wings." I think it sort of just blew him away - just what you wanted, Phil, right? Well, it worked.

He was reading this thread when I left.

I think VG will be online often since his computer is working 100% just like it was brand new. The computer tech (Michael) at his ISP (Surfbest) was just wonderful last night - helping me get the Mac Mini all configured for the internet. This computer is sweet and works beautifully.

I made it home from VG's safely. Which is quite a feat in itself. And I just want to say that I don't care WHAT that high 'n tight headed rodent says about this weekend - it's not true. Or maybe it is true. You can believe what you want.

Things are shaping up at Dave's. We've got the kitchen under control, the living room carpet was steam cleaned yesterday and it really made a difference, and today I worked on getting his bedroom cleaned up. The bedroom is a little cozier now - I bought VG a comforter set (my funds, not the VGGA funds). I got the sheets washed and put on, the dust ruffle on, new mattress pad on, then added the comforter and the shams and VG now has a snuggly and manly looking bed setup. I talked to Dave when I got home and he was snuggled up in his bed and he said it was very comfortable. I'm hoping he will be able to get some good sleep on that bed now.

I'm not done yet. I need to tackle the bathroom. :eek: I hate cleaning men's bathrooms. Geez, do you guys even know that you are suppose to aim for the water in the bowl, and not just let it fly wherever? Sheesh. I'm going to have to put on a HazMat suit before I go into that bathroom.

There is still a lot of organizing that needs to be done at Dave's. His clothes need to be assigned drawers in the dresser and put away. There are lots of boxes with "stuff" in them - I need to figure out exactly what to do with the "stuff."

And another thing - why do guys have bullets and those thingies that you load bullets in - all over the place? I swear Dave could arm some foreign country's army and still have bullets left over. Bullets, bullets, everywhere and not a gun in sight.

But Dave is doing well. He looks good and he looks and acts like her feels pretty good, except for being a little tired.

And I will let Dave tell you about what I gave him today..... :D I will neither deny nor confirm his report of what it was.

That's it for my report. We're getting Dave back into the land of the living and I am so happy to see it coming together - in person.

Thank you for doing everything that you have done for our special rodent. I don't like cleaning my house, I'd have a real hard time working on someone elses. That's truly special.

As much as can be done via the net sometimes it takes someone on the scene to fully get things done.

As for all those wings out there...that just blows me away. You guys are the best. Thank you.

I thought he slept hanging upside down in a closet/or in a coffin with earth from new jersey in it?

and I agree shams and ruffles etc just don't sound right talkin of the rodent.
