I'm very glad it went well!

It makes me feel a lot better because i have someone close who is going through a very similar kind of surgery very shortly, and when I hear words like "paralysis", i get seriously worried
 
Glad it went well Robin, and sure hope you have a good recovery.

Those back surgeries are no fun, had 4 myself, and had the same instramention put in as you on the last.

That sounds crazy painful! I hope you're pain free soon and for a long time. I blew a disc in my low back last year but was able to avoid surgery. When tissue is literally compressing nerve it hurts so bad I can't describe it to someone who hasn't been through it, but what doesn't kill you...
