Hello boys. I made it to Reno at 5 PM yesterday. 16 hour layover in Hong Kong was a killer. And, I think they have more thieves in Hong Kong today than when under British control. Here's why. I lost several items from my luggage in Hong Kong including some jerky that I had from the village. But it's over and done with.

I sent some swords ahead of me -- too difficult to carry and the Hong Kong thieves would have probably stolen them anyway so I did the right thing for a change.

Here's one -- a beautiful Tibetan sword made my Kumar and his helpers. It's 36 inches and 58 ounces of very fine sword. The handle is Chiruwa style and very well done. Fit and finish are excellent. Scabbard is well done but Bill tells me you do not care too much for the red leather and I'm sorry about that. It is good leather so perhaps you can dye it a darker color if you like.

The best thing about this sword is the price. I'm going to sell this sword for $195 which includes delivery via US priority mail.

Call me or email Bill if you are interested.

And more good news -- I have a few more more both in wood and horn just in case.

Namaskar Pala! :)

Glad to hear you made it in one piece even if your baggage didn't.

I hope your visit is filled with joy and satisfactions and that our country treats you with the courtesy that it is capable of.

Welcome Pala. I like the red leather myself so you guys who don't can all send me whatever red leather scabbard khuks you have and I will take care of them.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of you old timers at the convention and meeting some new. I send some special items for the convention.

John Powell is coming to visit next week and I'm looking forward to that.

Namaskar, Pala.

After years of letting the 15" Sirupati you rehandled over here in oak sit around, I recently cleaned it up and stained and sealed the handle and polished the blade up.

I've been enjoying it, and it reminds me of you each time I handle it.

Welcome from those who've already met you and those wishing and planning on meeting you soon.

Welcome Kami Sherpa. It is an honor. Wish I could make it to the convention, I'm a huge fan of your shops work!

Please let Sanu know (if at all possible) I am indebted to him for his fine work, and the same for Sher.

Sincerely,
