I just go back from Yosemite and took a six year old and his mom (my girl friend) up to the top of Yosemite Falls trail.:thumbup: :cool:

I figure that if I can get them up there then the Skunks should make it up the 3.4 mile climb easy :cool: Oh it was just over three hours up and two to get down. :)

I got to see half dome when I was around 9 years old... I'd love to back there. instead I am off to nebraska :grumpy:

I'm getting a little foggy right now and I keep superimposing the pics from skunk's post the other day over these pics.


Now what stage of life is it where a guy gives bunny ears to a kid?

Did you have to spike his orange juice so that he would sleep through all of the roaring?

nice pictures... i remember going when i was a little kid... IMO still haven't really seen something that has any scenic comparison.

i think you could use a lil more lighting under her bottom...

also make your aperture bigger and shoot from a kneeling position :thumbup:

other than that... looks ok to me :cool:

See this is why the intelligent design thing just doesn’t work for me. If that were true you’d thing the guy
could have figured out that we needed three of four light sources out there to make it work. :grumpy: :grumpy:

Yes there were very few people. When I got to the top there were only four others up there. And no traffic at all in the valley:D :thumbup:.

I want to take them back up there in June when the falls are full but so will the crowds:grumpy: I may camp on 120 for that trip and walk down Yosemite Creek from there. The creek has easy fly fishing for Guyon-size trout.:thumbup: :p That would be fun for her son too.
