Dangerous stuff.
I keep a pump bottle of sanitizer in my pocket whenever I leave the house. Can pump it right from my pocket. I sanitize gas pump handles, every door handle outside my house, etc. (and my hands ).

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

I did my best, basically. We have to wear masks at work. Plus, I'm in the food industry, and we sanitize our hands all the time. Hard telling where it came from.

I've been exercising quite a bit today. Sitting and laying all the time is no good. I turned my oxygen down a bit, since my numbers seems to be stabilizing.

Also, not to be gross, but I've been diarrheal since the beginning, and still am. Seems to be a part of COVID. Be glad when that goes away.

Thanks guys appreciate it. Woke up to a very slight fever this morning. Tylenol got it right down.

Got up, got me a shower, and started exercising right away. That's the best thing I can do for my lungs now.

After I got sick from Covid, my wife got it, my brother got it, and now his wife and daughter have it too. My boss as well. Last night, I got a frantic text that my nephew's blood pressure was 225 over 185, and they rushed him to the hospital. Seems he had a slight stroke, and has a small, non cancerous tumor. When it rains, it pours.

Damn I'm sorry to hear about your nephew, I hope he recovers fully from that. Glad you're feeling good enough to exercise some, it's got to be good to get off the oxygen and start getting some sort normalcy back. This stuff seems to hang on with some people and flair up at times but praying you're past the worst.

Thanks guys.

He got to come home. Talked to my mom earlier, and he had called her and said he felt way better. My nephew is a big boy. He needs to lose some weight. He's 6'5", probably upwards of 350lbs. It's hard on your heart/health to be that big. Need to lose some myself. I weighed 285, but am down to 260 from covid. Not a good way to lose it perhaps, but hey, I'll take it. You're right about the way this stuff works. One day I feel okayish, then the next my lungs hurt again. Some bad sh*t.

Praise God that you are healing.
I haven't checked in for a while and am very late to this thread but stay the course and have faith.
Thank you for sharing your experience; Godspeed to you Warrior.

Thank you sir, appreciate it.

This morning, my back is in pain, but I think it's my lungs healing up. Doc still wants me to stay home this week. Been off work since Oct. 30th. I hate being off work, but I want to go back the right way. They talked about taking my oxygen machine to work, and taking frequent breaks when necessary. I would rather go back healed, and work my ass off.

If you have worked all your life it just doesn't feel right not working . I've been off since October 28th and it feels like months. Glad you are doing better .

Thanks brother, appreciate it. You are correct. We were raised to work, and it sucks to get that taken away. Not to sound braggy, but I'm a hard ass worker. They hired two full time temps, per what my boss told me, and they still can't do the job I do myself. I don't understand people that go to work and don't get much accomplished. I don't get up every morning to go to play, I get up to go to work. I was born in '63, so still old school I guess.

You were born in '63?
I've got neck ties older than you!

Only kidding, I'm not that far ahead of you; soldier on brother.

Glad you are getting past it!!!

I have known a bunch of people at work and in life who got it officially, but for them it was not bad...you are the first person I "know" who got Zapped....
Keep Healing,
I'll be cheering for ya.

I was born in 62 so I am a little more old school than you :p I am tentatively scheduled to go back to work on January 4th. I am not supposed to drive until mid December.
They call me a couple times a week to ask questions
SALTY SALTY I told one of my daughters boyfriends that I have razors older than him

Im glad your nephew is feeling better. Hopefully this experience makes him take better care of himself.

Im still young by yalls age but my old man put me to work not long after i could walk. So ive been working longer than people 10 yrs older than me. These kids today dont know what hard work feels like. A coworker said the the other day that he doesnt need to do much since i like to do all the work. Kids...

I'm sure I'll be off this entire week. I'm hoping to return a week from tomorrow. The way I still feel, there's just no way I could return. Yesterday morning I had a small headache, decided to take my temp, and it was 98.9. Nothing devastating perhaps, but was surprised I had a temp again. Tylenol got it right down. This morning, my temp was normal, but earlier this evening it was 99.5. Be so glad when this crap has healed. Been sick for 3 weeks now.

I was just wondering what the policy at your work was? Some get told they must have a negative test to return but I also know some who have been told by their Dr. that they will test positive for 3 months anyway so if they have been symptom free for 7 days they can go back to work. I know several places have changed their stance on it but it's confusing to say the least.
