• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Im Back

I didnt do any fishing. Wish i did took my survival fishing kit.. I found a grasshopper and threw him im.... Yea i murdered him.. Out of no where a trout atlist 2lb jumps and grabs him. You dont see the big ones so that surprised me. Im sorry i didnt write more as i found that half the pics didnt upload. I ended up sitting late. Woodsman you cant Jinx me, with Murphy on the trip with me. There was nothing you could have done lol.
Siguy i realy dont mind the trouble when you come back home it makes the trip more intresting.
The weather was great. During the day around 70-78 at night it droped twice to the high 20s, with wind every day. I used a 20deg bag with a Bivy bag and light weight long johns. I were nice and warm. Carry Deet lots of bugs and they said they are not out yet!!!! I cant wait to see what would happen if the skeeters are out in force.
I cant stop thinking where do i want to go next.

Great trip! I really like the high elevation foxtail pine in the southern Sierra. Some of those lakes are fantastic fishing; I was at a lake in the Sierras a few years ago where you could hang your lure above the water and trout would jump out of the water to take it.
