Bit bored at work for the next few days. If anyone needs a template for a stock removal knife, gimmie a picture of what you want the blank to look like and the size of your steel as well as the desired dimensions of the blade.

You can print it out, see how its going to look. Possibly trace it on to paper with a pencil, modify it just a bit if desired and then cut out the new one. You can also glue it to some cardboard and cut that too if you want to feel it in your hand before you make it. When you're done you trace it onto your stock (or stick it with something spray paint around it). I made a very nice looking blank this way from a picture of a falcata (I heavily modified the dimensions and scale to get the proportions usable, shrank the blade length, narrowed it a little, and made the handle just a little smaller). I'm a total noob so the final execution will probably be crap, but the blank looked good :D

Technical Explanation of what I would do. Its not very hard and the software is free. Create a canvas in GIMP the same size as the stock, fit the blade to it. Scale the dimensions of the blade as desired (I adjusted mine to use all of the available steel on the bar I had, without modifying tang size). Print to PDF (Easiest way I know of to retain exact dimensions without fiddling with it at printing time later).
