I live in Montana, a very rural state. The only martial arts instructors are in TKD, but I hate learning "kata's and forms". Plus, kicks to the head open up your groin for counter strikes. My only training consists of heavy bag and a wooden dummy workouts. Too bad none of my relatives are in the FMA. Dang, small communities

Ex,

get some vid's and a partner and go to some seminars. it really works. It isn't the best but it is better than being bummed.

Videos are a good start, and there´s some very good stuff out there. Bram Frank, Kelly Worden, James Keating and a whole bunch of other FMA or FMA-influenced guys have videos out, just search the Filipino Combat Arts forum for Smoke´s list of video reviews, they´ll help you save some money on bad tapes.
BTW, is your e-mail referring to the Steyr version of the FN-FAL? Just a little curious, as I had to carry one for 8 months in the Austrian army.
Anyway, train safe.

Judge, it does refer to the Steyr variant of the FAL. Importers bring in de-milled STG58 parts kits. We can then assemble them into fully functioning semi-auto rifles.

I'll search the archives for good vids. Thanx.
