Congratulations. You won't regret it. Does the rotary platen require any alterations or can you use it right out of the box?

Thanks William - according to Travis, all I have to do is order the rotary platen from Beaumont with a Bader arm and it'll pop right in.

Great machine, I'm wanting one of those myself. Did you get the surface grinder attachment?

David:

Nope - I didn't even ask about the price. The $3670 delivery price was all I wanted to spend at this time.

I have a TW-90. I don't think you will be sorry.
I have the surface grinding attachment and it works beautifuly.

Tom, I have been considering buying Travis's surface grinder attachment and was wondering how it compares to a commercial grinder such as a Do-All. It certainly takes up less space. The cost compared to new vs. cost of used with wear and tear is very attractive. The question I have is how it will hold up over time.

Regards
Bill

I don't really see anything to wear out on the surface grinding attachment. You can go to Travis's web site and see a video of it. I think mine will last as long as I do. You might e-mail Travis and ask if there has been any problem with wear on his attachment.

WOW you coulda got a pretty loaded KMG for that price, OUCH. Hope that thing makes a good cup of coffee :)

I love my KMG, the only other grinder I would get would be a Bader, and that would be a space saver not a B3 haha.

Don't knock the TW90 until you try one. I had 2 KMG's. Great machines, super heavy duty and built for a lifetime of use. The TW90 is on a whole different level in every aspect and worth every penny. Tracking, super quiet, ratcheting belt tension, horizontal grinding, are just a couple finest points. For what you get, the quality is second to NONE, it is not expensive.

Time to lock this thread......thanks for all the help fellas. Bader and KMG lovers have great machines, don't get me wrong. That's why there's Chevys, Fords, and Dodges. :)
