I'm craving a new Emerson!

To address the title of the op. I have quickly learned that i will always be craving a new emerson. This for me will never end. I told myself, hey i will buy just one that will satisfy me. It did but.......I need another, not want, need... Badly.... I can't breath.... I'm sweating...o god...emerson....now. Ahh my horseman is in my hand. I'm okay. Wait my other hand is empty. Noooooooo.

I have no doubt you will enjoy having the 13 or whatever you end up grabbing. I personally have put the 13 on my next list after a christmas knife( most likley the all black commander with gold ti)

I wish emerson would do another "irish cqc 13" they are rare and cool as hell.

This is why I wish Ernest would offer a traditional Japanese blade folder.

Preferentially I like the CQC 15 just because of the blade style. It's a mix of recurve, tanto and clip point. It just works for what I need to do. Grip wise, to me, the 13 and 15 have the same kind of ergonomics that I like because there is a guard in the rear of the grip which locks my hand in one place. It would just be a matter of which blade style you like.
 
A guard gives peace of mind but for thrusting, one just needs to change to a palm grip. The hand will not slide forward.
