I'm dieing here!!!

Beautiful blades, hawg.

Purna's mark is usually the bull's head but those look a bit like the other end!:D:thumbup:

You are right SingleGrind I had not looked at the other marks that closely....forest for the trees kinda thing LOL, too worried about the mark in question....

I have an email in to Auntie hopefully she can shed some light on when the change took place...it is neat if its a new development for sure, but wouldn't it be something if it was an older mark from way back when....

who knows!?! either way I'm tickled pink with the blades and am already sharking for my next out of some old for sale ads in the trade section....the Suri bug has really bitten me and I'm REALLY FEELING a 25 inch now.....

/shudder.....I think I have a fever .....must have been bitten by the bug!.....gonna have to go let me kids know their dreams of a collage education is on it's deaths bed....wish me luck!

I officially dub this new mark " The Double Bung Ox " ........no?...../sigh ok....back to the cage then /whimper

Double Bung Ox... hmmm, got a nice ring to it.

25 inch? Psh! You need a 30 incher!

The sheer size of this thing is hard to capture in a picture of just the knife, so I asked the wife to snap this picture of me holding it.

Philll, ole buddy...you ain't no small man yourself. So, that Siru looks just right for ya!

Phil, I must say that, aside from absolutely everything else about that blade, my favorite part is how the BirGorkha mark is at the end of the sword of shiva. It's the little things that give so much character. Like my favorite thing about my Tamang is that the markings are on the opposite sides as normal. Not totally unheard of, but still uncommon and very cool :) Thanks for the pics!

The beard compliments the khukuri quite well Phill!

kind of reminds me of one of those special forces operators trying to blend in with the locals.... you know... the Green Berets, Navy Seals, Those guys that wear blue pants so they can stand in waist deep water and just.....blend in with their surroundings!

Clearly the shirt is designed as " cargo net camo " ......my theory is this pic was taken as he prepared for some clandestine mission to unload boats full of imported Kuks in shallow water!.....I'm on to you Philll! YOU DON'T FOOL ME!!

/shiver

Gosh durned if you ain't on to something there Hawg. I can see it now plain as day. Guess that's how that camo stuff works, right under you nose and you don't see it.

The head's on the other side philllll.

No. It's the blue khakis...;) :p :D
That is blue alright! I bet he blends right in on the Florida Keys. Kick back in your favorite fishing chair and put your feet up on the side of the boat you blend right into the horizon. Mangrove green shirt and sky blue Khakis:thumbup:
That is a pretty knife. I tossed around for a long time whether to buy a 25" or a 30". Finally went with the 25 for practical reasons. At the time I really needed a bush clearing blade. Id love to have a 30" Kobra tho.

I agree...the 30 REALLY starts to whisper " sword " to me while 25 is closer to machete length...I think as awesome as the 30 is....when I get a longer one it'll be a 25. Then there is that other part of me that says 25 is so close to the 20 I already have....might as well go 30 just to shake things up.....I'm really conflicted on this one....
