I'm digging these 212's

I got my 212 today and the Micarta is so dark and heavy it looks like black phenolic??
As I did, but mine is not as dark...dark but not like the black phenolic. I'll use this and compare it to my 118 is D2, come fall and the hunting season.

I've contacted Steve and he's going to make it right.:thumbsup::thumbsup: It's smooth and black looks JUST like Phenolic. Funny thing there looks to be a small blem and it's actually maroon micarta??:confused::confused:

I sent him an email last Saturday afternoon regarding the coloring of my 212, still waiting on a response. I am hoping for a similar outcome.

Apparently the Red Lucite 212 was made In both W2 and 420hc.

There is also a brass cocobolo one you are missing.

Very nice looking knives.I hate to see it even though I seen the 212 on FB I didn't really take a second look until now.

I doubt you’ll get one of those. Only 13 made. But don’t miss out on the current elk with buffalo horn spacer. I just got two of them and they are at least as nice as my jigged Buffalo one.

Well, I guess I will just have to have someone build one for me!

I'd love to have the red micarta 212 in my collection, but I'm in Canada and it doesn't look like I can get one .bummer again.

SK ships to Canada.I have purchased from them in the past. And they combine shipping cost so you can order more.

I received a burgundy micarta 212 from SK blades a few days ago. I've looked at it in different kinds of light, and if I didn't know it was supposed to be burgundy, I would have believed it was dark brown. There is a redishness to it, but it's very dark overall and hard to tell. I still like it though. It has a good feel and it's d2!

I keep looking at pictures of all the versions and it now on my Buck budget buy if I can find one..Not to collect but just to use. Really my D2 118 does it all but there's something about it..Edit The same for a 105!

I have to really try hard to keep up even with one model..the 112. Buck really does release a lot of different variations of all there models..Many are truly limited unlike Case for example.

I regret not getting the turquoise gold spiderweb 212 that Craig sold. It was something else!

Did anyone here end up with it?
