Yes, this is a Ernie Emerson custom, just came back from the spa where Ernie himself did the work. It took a good while but CQC6s are just simply hard to come by.

Imagine if Jerry Busse did a hand made folder. Just look at Peter Atwood. He only does 2 or 3 per year, and puts them up on ebay to give everyone a fair chance. :eek: He's very surprised and gracious of the ridiculous prices guys are willing to pay. If Jerry were to do that, my money would be on Randucci winning but Jaxx and knifehunter would have close odds. :eek::eek:

I'm not a real big fan of the chisel grind and haven't ever gotten into Emersons because of that. But Ernie does make plenty of knives with full grinds and he does own the "Wave" system, which is pretty cool, and besides that Ernie is one of the pioneers in Tactical knives, not to mention having a rep of being one of the most honest and nicest makers out there.

If he ever releases his Gentleman Jim, I'll be buying one. Especially since it's not a custom and I'll be able to afford it. His custom pcs tend to run in the high hundreds and know to go into the thousands. The Black 6 for example.

Anyhow....just my 2 cents. Congrats on your Suspect coming home Dan.:thumbup:
 
I heard Pohan Leu is working on a folder. This will be interesting, to say the least. :)
