I took my TTSK and my ML Kephart out today with the intention of comparing a modern design with a old classic. Unfortunately I kept getting disturbed by sheeple, the wood I kept using was poor in that it was both hard and brittle and my bushcraft skills are not the best.My findings were that the TTSK was much better at chopping because the shape of the handle plus use of the lanyard allow you to get a great grip right at the back and enable you to swing it with quite some force.I chopped through branches twice the diameter of those done with the Kephart in the same amount of hits.To be honest with the Kephart not having a lanyard you can't really chop at all and just end up doing retarded hacks at the branches !!!
Cutting tasks both got done in about the same amount of time with the Kephart going through the wood with a little more ease while the TTSK was a little more comfy to use. Both allowed many different grips and it is hard to pick one as a winner in these tasks !

Anyway back home I decided to make some Fuzzy's with some better wood, I was suprised at how different the Fuzz's looked considering they were from the same piece of wood !
