I don't think that will be a problem, and shouldn't affect the performance at all. The belly takes all the beating. The first time you sharpen it, you can clean it up then, if you want.

the edge doesnt look all that thick on yours. can you take some pictures of the belly area?

Thanks SPX, I appreciate it. I get so aggravated at myself sometimes for being so picky over the littlest things. Stuff that I know sensibly doesnt matter at all. I didn't think it mattered it's just good to hear someone elses thoughts on it.

I just ordered one today. I was pretty stoked at the price I paid until I seen yours. One hell of a score. Leave it to the little ladys to scoup up a bargain when they can. Now you know what channel and show to watch more in front of her.
