  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I'm getting fond of 154CM

I also observed that it comes with practice.

I've got diamond stone, but my best results come from a round ceramic rod of Lansky.

I'm not noticing a huge difference between 154cm & CPM 154. I currently have Strider, a Fiddleback Forge & Daniel Fairly knives in the CPM flavor and Benchmade and Hogue in 154cm. I do think its a great steel. I certainly prefer S30V or S35VN because they stay usable much longer. They can look dull, feel dull, and still cut. When 154cm or CPM 154 look &/or feel dull they act accordingly.
I didn't mean that to sound negative though! I do really like the steel in both standard issue and powder form!
