I'm Going To Be 20 In Just 28 Days And....

(I'm sorry, I can't keep up the capping)
Knifeworks has for $110 a Manix 2 in BD30P full flat grind. It's still a sprint:( but it's only $40 more than the standard:) It's also at about an ounce lighter than standard.

Looking at your expanded list, I say go for the Gayle Bradley. It's a favorite for me alongside the 0551. The thin blade grind and steel combo is perfectly executed, and the build quality is tops.

Just a personal preference but I would choose the Spyderco Caly 3.5. It packs 3.5" inches of blade in a package that is virtually the same overall size and weight as the Caly 3.

Spyderco military if you haven't tried it yet, its one of my favorites for sure. Just don't trade it, you'll regret it!

Happy birthday, Jess!

Kershaw Barrage/Salvo in damascus. Unassisted, no flipper, but opens like it has speedsafe. And oh so pretty.

I got a blem for $40 a few weeks ago, and I love flicking it open, even more so than the A/O flippers. Left the house to go to work this morning, and turned around after I had realized it wasn't in my pocket.

Lots of great choices here for sure but you'll absolutely love the ZT 0350, it's one fun and impressive blade!

Now, I don't want to go all 'mall ninja' on you, but one of the smoothest and best handling knives I own is the Kershaw Tanto Groove by R.J.Martin. If I was turning 20, it would serve as a fine memento.

Here's a few suggestions from me.

Spyderco chaparral
Spyderco calypso 3 or 3.5
Benchmade Ritter griptillian
(should try out the axis lock if you haven't already)
Benchmade 940
Benchmade rift
Crkt ripple 1 or 2
Kershaw blur
Kershaw od-1
Kershaw leek
Kershaw junkyard dog

Also if you really like the manix 2 there's a dealer exclusive m4 FFG blade with tan g10 at a certain dealers site. You could get some rit dye and dye the handle whatever color you like since tan is such a neutral color.

Buy a Groove and be Groovy.

Tostig
No, the Zing is the grooviest knife.

Edit: I would suggest the Zing only if you carry your knives left-handed, but I still maintain that the Zing is groovier.
