sVincent's recent pic got me to thinking. Football season is upon us again! Time for a little give-away. But first The Rules:

1. CONUS only.
2. You must have 75 posts in the Kershaw sub before your first reply, and posts for other give-aways don't count. And I will be checking.
3. One reply per day (that's 24 hours). And you can't "piggy-back" a few days worth in one reply. The contest will stay open until I can find the prize! (It's in a box around here somewhere, but it will probably take a week or so to find it) I'll give you a three-day advance notice when I find it.
4. It helps to live in or near Atlanta, but its not required.
5. Creativity counts!
6. Within 30 days you must post a picture of you or someone of your choice using the prize IN A PUBLIC PLACE. Failure to do so will bring forth a barrage of Family hazing, and shame upon your offspring.
7. "Don't screw up"

The contest will be judged by me. My decision is final. However, bribes will be considered...:D

Must we dislike the Atlanta Falcons ? I'm neutral, but.... any day now I could read or just hear something that would make me dislike the falcons.
Is that what you are looking for ??

*start reasons* Why do i hate the Atlanta Falcons? Simple. They have not been enjoyable to watch for a long time now. Before the crap with Vick, he was all they had. Now look at them. They are like my Bengals (though i will admit i am more a Colts fan) in that they could be good, but never will be because of the dark cloud surrounding the organization. If, IF, the Falcons could actually get out from under Vick's shadow, it would be great for them, but they wont. They can't hold a coach. Their players suck. Their coach(s) suck. Simply put they are the disgrace of the NFL and will continue to be such for a long time.
 
I am not an NFL fan.... I mostly like college football. But I still have a way to hate the Falcons. They drafted Mike Vick. When I was a frshman at WVU the VT game was at home. VT had trounced the Mounties for 3.5 quarters, but, late in the 4th they managed to rally. WVU reeled off 3 unanswered TDs in a matter of minutes and pulled ahead. In the closing seconds of the game Vick manages to break contain, and, streaks down the sideline 50 yards. This set up an easy chip FG and put VT ahead. The long and short of it.... I hate the Falcons, because I hate the guy they drafted.... every time I hear the name Mike Vick I think about the first time I ever had my heart ripped out at a WVU game...that one still kinda makes me sick at my stomach, eventhough, it has happened countless times since that first one.

I know I'm going to get a hazing for this....But I'm a Falcons Fan. :o

I hate Vick as much as anyone else but I'm not going to jump ship
on them. Vick is gone. The new head coach has put a lot of the
arrogant, over paid scum on the road. (We'll see what happens)
They may not win many games, but at least a lot of the pompous
azz players and assistant coaches are gone.

I'm not a flavor of the month football fan. I picked the Falcons as my team
back in the 80's. The days of Billie (White Shoes) Johnson, Steve Bartkowski
and William Andrews just to name a few. And lets not forget Morten Anderson,
the old man who just keeps kicking.... Literally. :D
 
I'm not entering the competition.....but, I will join a Falcon haters club. Hating the atlanta falcons IS in fact the right thing to do. Joe
 
I hate the falcons because Jerry Glanville was once the head coach there. Jerry Glanville also had the opportunity to start Brett Favre; but decided to make fun of him and eventually trade him to Green Bay. If He had let Favre start at Atlanta, we wouldn't have to turn on the TV this week and hear NOTHING but stuff about Favre going to and then leaving training camp for the Packers! The Falcons might never have drafted Vick, and Vick might have been a good quarterback for another team!

I dislike Mike Vick's whole family. This is his little brudder showing some of that 'ole Vick sportsmanship. Frank Beamer sent him packing after he stomped the Louisville players leg after a sack. Another reason to hate the Falcons? Probably not....actually, I have no prolems with the Falcons, but I do hates me some Vicks :barf::thumbdn::grumpy:
 
Im from atlanta, And the reason i hate the falcons is they suck, IMO they dont have class, they hire "thugs" they cater to atlanta thugs. Who wants to go see them play and have to park by the GA Dome. All there are, are crack heads, homeless, and they are not the nice kind they are the overly aggressive kind. Been once and that was once to many. Now if this was a why do the PATRIOTS KICK ASS it would be at lest 1000 words :D
 
The Falcons started out lame, spent big money, brought in a bunch of ghetto trash "talent" , their one true star turned out to be the most immoral douche since Mike Tyson, and the owners response was a 4 game "suspension" about 37 seconds before the NFL told Vick to not bother reporting for spring training. Horrible reputation, ticket sales suck, the owner doesnt hold players accountable. Garbage team.

I'm still a Falcons fan, I just can't get over some of the
bone head things they have done, especially when they
were under the Smith Family. :thumbdn:
 
hmmm, lets see. the falcons suck because, well, its the falcons. look at what they have done in the past 10 years. they contended once i believe, only to be finished by the Eagles, who right now, aren't doing much better than the Falcons. They could have had farve, but they dont. How the Jets got Farve, well, dont get me started on that. I think that the Falcons are the perfect example of why i watch college football and not pro, though i am a Colts fan :D
