Love them while they are little because before you know it they will be teens :eek:(OMG) and then the are marrried and having kids of there own (payback is hell):D!

Another little piece of advice, ~ they never stop being your kids or quit coming home to Mom and Dad "if you are lucky"!
It's the hardest full time job you ever had and you never know till later in the game how good a job you done, but if you do evrerything right the chances are you will be pleased with the end result!

Congrats Mace! Its going to be one of the scariest most rewarding jobs you've ever had. The first time you child looks up at you and says 'I love you daddy' you will melt all over the floor.
 
...or in Mace's case, "Daddy, loan me the bail money and I promise I won't skip bond like the last time... and lemme borrow the keys to your truck."

This is gonna be awesome - once again I get to be Uncle Matt, destroyer of all rules of parenting. Can't wait to fill the kid full of sugar, teach him to swear, get him all whipped up for an hour or two and send him home to you. After all, what else are friends for?:D:D:D

Trust me.....I'm fairly sure the first words will be swear words!
