I'm hankering for a new traditional, leave some suggestions!

Have I got the perfect knife for you, get a Lanny's Clip, get one from Case or if you want there are a few custom knife makers who make them most famously, the guy who came up with the pattern for a friend of his named Lanny.

Here's a custom Lanny's Clip I won from the Blade Show GAW thread here on our forum. It's a JD Ellis Lanny's Clip and I'm sure the regulars are gettin' tired of seein' it but I'll risk their wrath ;) :)

Here's JD Ellis's interpretation of the Lanny's Clip made famous by Tony Bose, (Shhhhhhhhhhh don't tell Tony that Ellis is right behind him as far as bein' able to produce a gorgeous blade.... )

That Ellis is nice. I love mine from Andy Fannin but I think customs are a little beyond the OP's budget. Here's a pic just because.

Lambsfoot! ;)
B buffalo01 , Jack replied with this, perhaps a bit in jest, but I want to second this and suggest you give it serious consideration.

The A. Wright Lambsfoot is made in England, not, the USA, but, hey, we have a special relationship with the UK.

It's a fantastic knife for every day use and is available well within your price range, even with shipping from Sheffield. Please PM me if you're interested and I'll point you to the place where I've purcasesd three great examples over the past year.
