Ok. So I'm having one of my Beers From Around The World Party. I normally have a couple/few different six-packs (or individual bottles) per country. So Hundreds of delicious Beer :)
I would like your help to determine which ones I get. Thought it would help me to learn abt some new ones maybe and hopefully fun for you guys.
I will be putting the INFI away. Well... I try not to "Drink and Busse" but sometimes I can't help it. I figured they were conceived while drinking so it would be ok to "DWB" sometimes.

For me I enjoy beer made from Belgium/Germany or anywhere there is well made beer. Those monks are sure talented! Anyways thanks for your input and favorites in advance!
p.s. If you have not tried Framboise, try it. Your ladies will love it. Pour it into a Champagne flute, Perfect!
So let me know your thoughts

I always buy a bottle or two of Rodenbach Caractere Rouge when I see it. Flanders red ale and a pretty tart sour if you like sours. Can find it pretty easily in the U.S. Not sure about distribution in TN, though.

Can't beat the Trappist ales either. Never had Westy, but love the Trappistes Rochefort Quad. St. Bernardus Christmas ale is good too. All these you can easily get in U.S.

For German beers, anything from Weihenstephaner and Hacker Pschorr are really good.

For Belgian ales, the previous recommends are very solid. La Trappe is a personal favorite of mine.

Mississippi is like a separate third world country.... One of our best beers is a porter from Crooked Letter Brewery called Mystery Romp. You can probably get it in TN. If not, let me know and I'll mail you some. Very solid porter.

Love Frambroise...but I never drink it straight. I drop a shot of it in wheat beers, like a good Hefewiezen....adds a fruity punch and..../cough...more alkihol

Beers:
Colombia: Tres Corderillas is one of my favorite breweries. Also, get something from Bogota Beer Company..their IPA is pretty good. Club Colombia is a middle of the road staple.
Turkey: Efes. It's a staple (but light).
Spain: Estrela Damm's INEDIT (comes in a wine bottle). It's amazing....created by a very well known chef, and goes awesome with food. Also, if you can find it.... Alhambra Reserva 1925.
Portugal: Sagres or Super Bock.

The INEDIT is tops.

EDIT: Canadian: La Fin Du Monde....An Amazing Tripel.

Chimay Ale is my favorite import! If you love beer and haven't tried it you need to.

There's a great brewery in Peru "Cumbres",, use a lot of native ingredients and make really tasty beer. The ones with quinoa, and one with purple corn are great.

Hitachino from Japan is soo good,, the White Nest is my favorite

Spain try Estrella Inedit

I suggest checking out beeradvocate.com, I'm a member and highly suggest it

I had a lengthy post typed up but decided you'd do best going the BA discussion forums

I'm rather partial to Delirium Nocturnum (a superb Belgian strong dark ale), and also Delirium Tremens (a truly outstanding Belgian strong pale ale; some say the best beer in the world).

It might be a little late in the season, but this one is really, really good too:

The Tremens and Nocturnum weigh in at 8.5% ABV and the Noël 10% ABV, so one 25.4oz bottle goes a long way.

I enjoy Hoegaarden once in a while and the Weihenstephaner Vitus. Also a local pizza joint here in Meridian, ID. kegs a beer they call Triple Pi, most likely its unavailable anywhere but here...

I forgot abt beer advocate. I'll have to check that out also. I figured you guys have great taste in knives so I thought you would have great taste in beer. Have to say so far you have not disappointed!

Another one of my favorites is Theakston's Old Peculier. The label says it's a "full bodied, rich, smooth tasting ale with a mysterious and distinctive flavor," but that's an understatement. Guinness is weak dishwater in comparison. It's a great beer for a winter's night.

I used to drink it a lot back when it came in big mouth bottles (sort of like Mickey's), but sadly those have disappeared, probably decades ago. Sadder still, even the ordinary bottles they sell it in now are not available anywhere near where I live.
