Well it arrived too late for my hike but my new ML Kephart has arrived and I couldn't be more pleased !!!!

My first test for any knife is making a fuzz stick, I usually grade them by how close they are to my Koster Nessmuk, well imagine my suprise when this thing nudged my Koster into second place !!!!!

The down side to my Koster has always been the handle slabs which are a little too thin for my liking, not the case with this baby though, they feel perfect !

Can ya tell I'm pleased !!!!!:D

nice looking knife!

i've sharpened one of those before, and you are right about the comfy handle, i like it quite a bit.

Nice knife pitdog. I still have a couple I'm expecting any day now, so I know how you were feeling. Now that you are going thin it will be interesting to see your future carry choices. You certainly have some of the most eclectic tastes in cutlery choices around these parts;)

That's true, I might have to carry a small axe when going with the thin knives !

 Fine... I'll take the Koster and show it the love and affection that your new JK and Tracker are getting.

:D

Nice score Pitdog. I'm a bit jealous.;)

That ML is freakin awesome. Matt makes beautifull knives. His leather is great too. Nice knife Pit, Im sure you will give it the workout it deserves!!

You must have a whole room in your house full of knives. And yes, I am jealous of that fact :D

You're killing me, man. Kephart or Woods and Bush?, Kephart or Woods and Bush?, .......

that is a great looking knife Pit... Matt's work is top notch... they're all wicked cutters.. i have a few or 5....:D

I really like that handle section. Looks a lot like the BRKT Full Tang Kephart which I find very comfortable.

I never really taken a shine to the Kephart design, it just does not make my blood flow any faster in any way or shape.

But that pic of the grind/edge is just making me drool :eek::eek:
That is THE ideal edge/grind that I'm going for when I sharpen my knifes, not just thin and convexed, but that edge/grind exactly.

 Sweet knife. Jealousy is beyond me, but man, you get all the cool knives.......... :D
