I have a bunch of blades hanging on the wall I have had forged and heat treated and decided I should work on a few of them and then fire up the forge. So I am being able to be a lot quicker than normal. So here it is:

Damascus Blade of 1095/15N20 at 3 3/4 inches long
handle is 4 1/4 inches long,It has a Bronze frame with copper spacers and the scales are sheep horn from Ed Fowlers shop,Bronze pins...
The Guard is Bronze

Bruce...you're outta control,man...:D Nice work-that sheep horn looks great!

Thanks for the great comments everybody...Oh yea,I purposfully made the pins go out of line with each other and follow the handle shape,Just incase someone was wondering.

Seems a really comfy and practical hard working knife!
Blade size vs. grip size suggest it's very good at heavy cutting.
I like it!:D

Thanks for the great comments everybody....The handle is a nice handfull but not to big and fits any position you want to grab it in.

Great to see you back in the shop Bruce. It must be very therapeutic to be using your hands and mind again on your knives. It looks to me like you didn't have to shake off any rust from your lay off. Nice knives!
