Andrew, thanks for the comments. One of the "upgrades" I want to do is change the recoil spring, possibly smooth the trigger if it feels rough after shooting and possibly lower and flair the ejector port. I've heared from people that last mod helps it feed different ammo better. It's something my Gunsmith does to his 1911's.
But mostly though I'll probably put different grips on it, change the recoil spring (to be on the safe side) and have my smith check it out to see if there are any other things needing done. Not even sure if we will do the ejector. But who knows. As soon as I get it, most likely on November 10th, I'll take it shooting.
Wilson mags for sure, McCormick mags, I know I've heared of them and seen them around. Glad to know you like them.
I think I saw some last night for about $16 at Gunnies where my gun is on lay away. Is that a good price or should I look at another shop?
After looking online a bit I found a picture of my Exact model of Springfield even some of the scratches are in the same place!

If anyone has a clue as to which model Springfield that is, I'd love to know. thanks,
Heber
