Ask about sharpening and sharpening equipment in The Toolshed.

You don't have to worry about sharpening the balisong if all you're going to do is slip it. You don't even want it sharp.

The SOG is AUS-8 which is easier to sharpen. Go to the Toolshed and ask about that. Sharpening is easy once you learn how but there is a bit of a learning curve. A Sharpmaker would be ideal for maintenance, but a simple benchstone will work just fine for that Flash.
