I just don't have the time to heat treat blades for other people any more. If you have packages out that are postmarked 06/06/2013 or earlier I will still treat them but packages postmarked on or after 06/07 will be returned. Please help pass the word.

Thanks,

Darrin

Well yep, that is a bummer. If anything, i thought your new hardness tester meant you were going in the other direction. Thanks for your past service and good luck to you.

Well its a good thing to be able to turn down work, it's way better then the alternative, looking for work and not finding it. You must be doing something right! Good for you!

I'm very sorry to hear this! I guess this means I need to bump up my scheduled kiln purchase.

I was just about to send you a PM about a blade I've had sitting for months now lol good to hear your busy. Anyone else offering HT for O1?

Probably the simplest way to find someone is to put a request in "The Exchange - Wanted ...Craftsman Services....".

Anyone with the skills and equipment to do quality HT for others, and who wishes to put his name out on this thread as being willing to take on a few blades is welcome to post here .
Please keep the business details by email or PM, but feel free to tell folks you do HT here.

Thanks I noticed that section but it doesn't ever seem to be used worth a shot either way.

Because of your membership level.

You can start a new thread there and you can see that, but you cannot see or respond to the threads that others start.

If you had a knifemaker membership, you would see it all.

Ah role access that makes perfect sense. Keeps non paying makers from soliciting business.
