Say 'ducci, that Lochsa looks like it has some pocket wear, I'll take that user off your hands.
So you consider a classic lockback the most secure folder?
I have been carrying folders ever since I was a little kid and have never had a problem with a knife folding back on me and getting cut. I have had slip joints with no lock to ones with all different kinds, liner lock, frame lock, lock back, Onion stud lock, Axis lock, etc., they all work find for me. I hear guys talking about lock failure, well I use a knife as a tool, not for chopping, throwing, prying, or batoning, but for light cutting and fine work. So I don't consider any one type of folder lock system the "Best", they just work differently and are fine with me. I don't need a indestructable Busse folder, I just want a good quality, good designed one with an INFI blade.![]()
.
You guys don't have your Busse Folders yet ???I got mine when they first came out. Limited run, sure, but there must be some on the secondary market. Check eBay.
Whats F.G. stand for, fugly? Or "Fake Gerry"?
.
Huh..............?
Hey bro, you on the sauce again??![]()
Typical comment I get.
Them: Cool T-shirt. What's Busse Combat.
Me: Only the best knives made on the planet.
(I tell them about the toughness of Infi and the demos Jerry has done.)
Them: That sounds great. Is that what you carry?
Me: No, I carry a Chris Reeve Sebenza.
Them: What's a Sebenza and why don't you carry a Busse?
Me: Sebenza is an African word that means "Busse doesn't make a folder."
So, please Jerry, make us a folder before BLADE 09!
I got that Lochsa about five years ago and have been carring it ever since. What is funny is I was talking to Jerry at Blade a few years ago about folders and he said they were looking at a one piece titanium frame. I walked him over to Scott Cooks table and showed Jerry the Lochsa and Jerry said "Ya, something like this!"

And to answer your question, as many as it takes to get a BUSSE FOLDER!!!
12 threads if they're about the folder.
