:)the brown truck just left my christmas present on the front porch. a package from the pharmacy. the d-2 millie i've been waing for. and it came a day early! and what a knife! I've wanted one for years, and it's been worth the wait! great lock-up, sharp of course, and the g-10 is too cool, a great color! hope everyone has a happy new year!!!!

Enjoy your new knife, dwo! I am waiting for a D2 Milli myself. It will be my first Milli, so I am also excited.

this was also my first millie. I've wanted one for years. the green g-10 was just too cool, so i had to have this one. i had forgotten how big of a knife this was, but in hand, it doesn't feel that big, great ergo's! the g-10 is very grippy, and the color is great. it locks up very tight, with absolutely no blade play. and talk about sharp, the fully flat ground blade gives this knife a razors edge. hope you enjoy your millie as much as i have, and hope you have a happy new year!

I'm in in a similar boat as you guys. I have looked at the Millie numerous times but never pulled the trigger on one. The D2 version with the Foilage green G10 was too much I just had to get one. I am very happy with the knife it has taken up residence in my pocket as EDC.

I have a Foliage Green D2 Military in the front pocket of my jeans right now. It's my first Military. Yep, it's a big knife, but it's lighter than most of my other folding EDC knives, which makes it a pleasure to carry. The G10 scales are pretty grippy, although an older Buck-Strider Tanto I have has G10 scales which are really grippy, bordering on coarse. And yes, it's really sharp. I really like it and I'm glad I purchased it.

OK, I am just loving this D2 Millie! At first I thought that it would be too big for pocket carry, but it just magically disappears into my RF pocket and you can hardly tell that it is there. This knife is beautifully made, opens with authority in a nice 'clack', and has absolutely no play in any direction. I really like the FG color as well.

I am going to keep the D2 Millie as my EDC for awhile and then write some impressions about it. So far, all is fantastic.

Edit - And a happy New Year to you, DWO!

I have looked at the Millie numerous times but never pulled the trigger on one.
yup, that's what i would have said not so long ago, but now it seems that i can't stop
got the S30V, D2 & BG-42, have the black S30V on the way, and hunting the forums for earlier versions.....

I just ordered my first Spyderco Military. It should arrive today. I stuck with the S30V but I can't wait to get it.
