I've just bought a Fallkniven A1 - 'twill be my first Fallkniven.

I really can't wait now. There are postal strikes going on at the moment though, so it could take a while to get here :(

I'll post some pics as soon as it arrives, and see how it compares to my assorted other bits of sharp, pointy metal.

Dude, I feel your pain! I just got my F1 in the mail today - my first Fallkniven. And, my A1 is in the mail, as well!

I couldn't be more happy with the F1 - the internet pictures don't do it justice.

I gotta plan a backpacking trip for when the A1 gets here so these boys can see some action... (!)

Enjoy yours!

Congratulations guys - hope you enjoy the crud out of them.
Haven't had the pleasure to have one yet, but a close friend of mine has named them his favorite blades to date.

Enjoy!!

The gods have spoken - they demand many pictures and intensive reviews of all knew blades, especially Fallknivens. Else there shall be great suffering among us... :D

Comparative reviews shall earn thee some popularity points with the BF-WSS gods...

Amen steel brothers: Compared to the knives that I have been purchasing, I can buy one of these Fallkniven blades, finish it myself, enjoy that process greatly, and have a really fine blade for the money. Highly reviewed steel. I may have to try one.

You just can't go wrong with any of the Fallkniven models. I am sure that I have somewhere over a dozen different Fallkniven knives and everyone came with outstanding fit and finish and sharp as could be!

Fallknivens rock. I just need to get off my butt and order the mosaic pins to finish my F1 project.

Fällkniven is a wise choice. Great knives indeed. In all honesty, you may see slightly uneven grinds and some other fit and finish issues, but don't let them disturb you. They're not that common anyway, but it's not unheard of. The knives do what they're supposed to do very well indeed. The F1 and A1 make a beautiful combo, and can take a heck of a lot punishment if need be.

Woohoo, I've got it!

Picked it up from the sorting office this morning. Only trouble is I'm at work now so I can't really play with it. Don't think our directors would appreciate me trying it out on the rubber plants.

Excited and frustrated all at once!!!

I'm impressed so far. Handle fits perfectly, seems really well balanced for the type of knife it is and I really can't wait to get out and play with it!!! Wonder if I can sneak off early...
