im so sad!...my poor knicker knives!!!

Hi GI !

Can remember the first "Ami"s (sorry but thats what we called you) i saw when i was 7Y old (1963) living in the same house as we did and all i can remember is they were large, had a red car and were everytime very nice to us children.

For a nicker see >www.boker.de/default2.htm<

The boker is not my favorite but the first picture i found.

I have an old one from my father and just today got a adress where to buy a kydex utility sheath for it. GREAT!

jh,
sorry to hear about your not so great experience with buying knives overseas. I had a few "accidents" happen to me as well when I bought from the US, a presumably good deal turning out to be bad is always a pain in the a**.
I´d like to know where you bought the knives. Was it knifeshop.com-Morocutti or some other place? Maybe I can help you straighten this out, who knows. Anyway, I invite you to post your experience at the European Knife forum (English language) of www.messerforum.net (at the starting page, click on "Messer Foren" (knife forums)in the left blue "Navigation" column, then choose the European Knife Forum. When you have chosen the European Knife Forum, hit the blue "Neues Thema erstellen" (create new topic) switch, then write your message and post it with the grey "Thema erstellen" (create message) switch under the typing window. The Software at messerforum.net is basically the same UBB as here, so it shouldn´t be a problem. Please contact the forum admin at info@messerforum.net , or R.Lhotak@messerforum.net for a login name and password you can use, it would get a little complicated explaining that procedure as well.
The folks you bought your knives from seem to think that not correctly delivering to US customers is nothing that could harm ´em, and this makes me ANGRY, especially if these ***** are from my country.
I don´t want to comment much on political issues, but there´s always and in every country the dilemma of democratically dealing with people who do not respect democracy or even want to destroy it.

bigbore,

It's always fun learning something new, but I really admire someone who can do it in a foreign language. My German has completely shriveled away over the years. I ought to try that Messerforum and see if I can understand anything.

Esav -

you said it : its just PURE, BASIC, REAL,

: : F U N !!!!

I learned english when i was 12 to 16 Y in school, but for a long time had no reason, to remember that. Just because of being interested in guns (as a shooter and collector)i begun to read every American guns/knife magazine i coud buy in germany.

Last year i bought myself (as a present from the family) this PC and INTERNET for my birthday (43) and that was the day i started LEARNING again.

And i m very happy i m still able to learn!! o)

By the way : i just recognized that i was nearly never out for shooting this year, but i bought more than 12 knifes the last 2years.

Something happened - I may got sick - or i just learned ???

This doesn`t mean i m going to sell my guns . . NO !!! NO !!! NO !!!

But there is something NEW in my mind, and i enyoy it very much!
