I'm sold

I don't have any gorilla glue but I do have some locktite glue will that work or will that be to much for when I want to remove te scales.?

OH NO NO NO NO!!! NO GORILLA GLUE!!! Gorilla grip, strong tightening, as in a gorilla has big arms and a tight grip, capable of, well, tightening stuff tight. Sorry, its a saying, and NOT GORILLA GLUE. Those handles will never come off if you Gorilla GLUE them.

My bad, just tighten them down good and tight, and you shouldn't have any problems.

NO GORILLA GLUE, please.:D

Lossened and repositioned the scales and it worked as you stated. The are flush now. Thanks a lot. I still have not put any glue or any type adhesive yet because I want to use one that works to help hold but that is not permanent as i might want to Tempe the scales for cleaning and oiling invade of blood or salt water exposure.

Cool, glad it worked.

Use Loctite (Blue) on the threads if you must, but NO GORILLA GLUE. That stuff is crazy.

1st uses of my new combo was the BK 13 cutting my baked chicken dinner. As I said before the handle was small but was still functional. Just from this minor use and judging feel I think that the bk13 works as a basic light duty utility knife

My dislikes were I did nit know the 13 was that small. I somehow how it was on par with the esee izula.

Not even close. If you want something on par with the Izula, you are looking at the BK-11 or BK-14 (both excellent purchases, by the way), neither of which will fit in the parasite pouch on your BK-9 or 7 sheath.

Oh for that pouch I have already decided that a victorinox spirit tool is going in that pouch. I have already tried it to ensure a secure fit and it works. So now in one package I have a BK 9, BK 13 and a victorinox multi-tool all in one lightweight package.
