  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I'm sorry, everyone

SNODYH8N has replied to your comment on Pure money:At least you can handle it then. Unlike the "Realist Maker" in the business. Maybe you should call Snody out. With all this time you guys have to make videos and all the money you claim to have, as well as all the customers that are "beating" your doors down why do you make fools of yourselves acting like Tennessee gangsters. You may be young enough to laugh at it later, but Snody? He is having a middle age crisis trying to become a well known maker.-SNODYH8N

why would anyone want to antagonize someone who builds blades for a living....thats just bad karma......and bad judgement....

j... your next collab project should be the "SNODYH8R Shiv";)

Howdy jsmithknives!
Thanks for dropping into the Horton Compound.

I had a few questions on putting a satin finish
on a blade.
I have a few pre-ground and sharpened blanks.
The blades need to be finished off.
I wanted to try and put a satin finish on one of them.
!st off,I just realized they are Hitachi ATS 34,
so I think that might be hard to work on.
Anyway,if I sand the blade,what should I start with,like 320
then work to 800 or so? Sand Parallel to the edge (horizontal)?
I dont really want a mirror finish, just a nice satin type finish.
Any help would be great!
Thanks again.
