I'm staying here

I'm staying too... I stick my nose in a few other forums from time to time, but this is the first one that I really joined way back when. Walosi got me to come visit and I learned that it was (and still is) the nicest place to hang out on the internet.

We may fight, fuss and step on each other's toes now and again... but I don't know anyother place on the net where you can post about a personal tragedy and get a ton of support from total strangers (ranging from prayers/smoke to cash).

Where else would a group of people help support a kid (whom they have never met) from a different country through medical school?

Opps... I just realized I'm late for class... see ya!

Sams,
Please, that's not what this thread is about. I just wanted to accentuate the positives of this forum.

Thanks man,

Steve

ok Steve,

I have allot to say but it isn't good so..................I'll just chut up.

i ain't going no where. life has me very busy and elsewhere, and when i do say something, i'll be choosing my words carefully and thoughtfully. more so than normal at any rate ;) construe that as you may :)

Glad you are staying Steve.

I go to other places too, but this is the best place to post a gun thread, bar none!

Y'all are stuck with me, I reckon.

Tom

Well, I've had to post just to figger out my join date.
I guess I'm sort of an "old timer" as far as that goes.
I have Khukuris that passed through Bill Martino's hands, and I can still recall the deep timbre of his voice on the phone.

I mostly lurk. I sometimes feel like I can contribute something, and once or twice I have come for smoke and prayers. I have tried to keep my ego in check here. It needs checking!

Bad new is, ain't going anywhere.

Good deal Steve! Glad to hear it. I'll stick around and keep you all company for a while longer anyway... :D

Norm

What Mike said.

Variety is good -- but I'm not leaving either, no matter how nicely you guys ask. ;)

Well I took a leave for a while as several of us have done at one time or another.
But I'm back now and plan to remain for as long as I can. I would've been here a lot more often the last two weeks if my DSL line hadn't of been on the fritz but they say they have it fixed now so guess y'all are stuck with me for a while longer now.;) :p :D

I'll still be here, lurking if nothing else. Though now that the weather's getting nice again, I'm overdue for some khukuri action. ;)

Bob

I hear you, Shappa.

Steve and everybody, I'm still here. I just haven't felt real talkative lately. :(

So, can we still burn some effigies? Faceless, no-named effigies?
It would be a heck of a stress-reliever, I imagine.

although I lurk more than post, anymore. Going back to school has taken more time and money than I anticipated. Little time for chopping. Little money for another Khukuri. And the Mrs. is facing her fifth back surgery in one year. I've been too busy being nursemaid to post every time an old timer migrates. But I still see the old timers in other places. So I guess I'm "promiscuous". Oh wait, you were talking about visiting other forums! Yeah, I do that, too.;)

Frank

Although some may wish I would, I'm not leaving...I've tried to...Yangdu says this is my dharma work, so I guess I'm stuck.

Yeah...when's the affleray?

NOW!

If anyone didn't receive the email, just let me know.

Steve
