I'm stumped, my etcher just won't etch anymore!

Build your own, it's dead simple.

I did one in an hour or so a few weeks ago to help out a friend.

I think I spent less than $60
 
I built one from the plans that are around and it works great. Then I picked up a variac from Ebay and added a 2p2t switch and a diode to the outputs of the variac. Now I can set the voltage from 0-120+ and select AC or DC. I don't have the price of a Personalizer in both of them put together.
 
Watch Ebay. I have a commercial unit. Kit sells for around $600, I paid $120 brand new.
