So I kinda went my own way with it. Not sure if or when I'll be ready to sing it in front of y'all, but here is what I came up with:

Dear smith, you made many, many folding knives,
I realize, of course, that it's no shame to be foldable.
But it's no great honor either!
So, what would have been so terrible if I had been a fixed blade?

If I were a fixed blade,
Shivy divvy divvy divvy divy divvy divvy dum.
All day long I'd cut chop and baton.
If I were a full tang blade.
I'd have no fear to work hard.
Shivy divvy divvy divvy divy divvy divvy dum..

If I were a bitty bitty fixed,
Never...

We'll each upload our musical contributions once at a time. I'll keep a record of who is doing what. I will try to recruit my brother for bass unless one of you guys wants to do it.

I volunteer to do rhythm guitar, lead vocals, and create a midi drum track. I will get these done in my spare time, and once I upload them, feel free to jam to it, and add your part, whether its a second third or fourth rhythm guitar part, guitar solo, keys, flute, triangle, rectangle, rhombus or cowbell. Or whatever else. Should be good clean fun.

Who else is willing to make some contributions? Anyway there is time, this will be a slow burn project, but I think it will be awesome.

Actually, we will conduct it all by DM or email so that we can release a polished version to the world when it's ready.
 
I will also do video editing so that any one of you that would like a video of your contribution featured can have it so.
