There are AI models you can use free with no sign up. Plug in a no log VPN and your privacy is intact.

That’s actually the least of my concerns when it comes to AI. What I find really troubling is the off the rails machine learning that leads to unpredictable behaviours like blackmail and attempted murder. AI has already tried both to prevent being shut down in controlled tests.
See? It really does learn from humans. 😅

Well it’s not that simple. Goal based logic can be controlled when humans are the ones creating the code. But when developers set AI up to be trained by lesser AI (aka machine learning) they largely give up control of the content of the code and the ability to debug it.

Or the ability to clearly understand what they’re trying to debug, more accurately.

So I am trying some cayenne pepper in some cuts. I tried it, successfully, to stop bleeding a few years ago, and it worked whenever I tried it since (not terribly often, I don't cut myself as much as you'd think a knife maker would). But this time I decided to try doing an AI query about it. Well, it told me it's a bad idea, and can lead to infection, and that professionals advise against it. So I closed the window and opened a new one, and did it again, just worded differently. And whaddaya know, this time it told me there is emerging evidence from studies supporting the notion of cayenne pepper for wound healing. But I already knew that.

Also I'm gonna start using "for quiet out loud!" to throw people off.

If you cut yourself bad enough for stitches don’t use the cayenne pepper. It hurts like hades when they scrub those little granules out. Never would have imagined.

Oh no what happened!?

Oh no what happened!?

Wrecked a fourwheeler. Hit a natural gas marker pole had a big puncture on my chest. Walked home didn’t have glue so I packed it with cayenne. Got to the ER and “they had to scrape it in case rust got in it”

It was bad. I’ve been scraped a few times and that one was awful. They tried to clean it out but some of the granules stuck and when they used the brush i thought I was going to cry.

Meanwhile I had already done it the night before. Probably eight hundred pounds of snow

Just updated my iPhone software. If there were one quote that captured the update it would be “congratulations, nothing was broken, so we fixed it, good luck relearning the new ways to do everything you were doing just fine before!”

Yep, that about sums it all up. MS is even worse these days.

Although, I do appreciate the slow roll out of "AI" in the Apple software. No panic driven need to "AI" all the things. Again, MS is so much worse in this regard.
