Hello
i recently got a zdp chinese lum as a gift. but i already have one.
so i'm thinking to trade this one for stretch ii or superhawk.
i know there r some difference in msrp so i'm thinking if this is a fair trade. or should i just return it and get money back?

thanks

i did some research and i didn't get clear answer. as u can see i'm long time member of this forum i just don't write much cause of my english skill and situations like this.....
only thing i do on this forum is read i don't write and i'm just asking if it is fair deal otherwise i go straight to for sale thread. anyway thanks alot.

by the way i do enjoy reading your thread..

I would say that would be pretty fair. I think it's always better to keep a knife I'm the community so to speak so trading down a little is offset by knowing it's going to someone who will appreciate the knife

Sure you did...

Im sure somebody will help you..

Trimcut123 go easy on the guy, he's been around awhile, there's just a simple language barrier.

MK if you can return it and get the retail price, I would imagine that is much more than you could sell it for here on the exchange. That may be your best bet. Return it and buy whatever you want with the money.

Otherwise check out the exchange, there have been a few Lum's on there recently, see what they sold for and gauge what is the better way to go.
:)

Difference in MSRP only means something if you paid MSRP for the knife. Since you got it as a gift it can be worth as much or as little as you want. If you put it up for trade and someone offers what you're looking for, I say go for it.

my buddy told me he got this one for around $100 with coupon promotion. so i guess i will hold on to it little longer. it's not my favorite knife but 2 lum is better than 1 lum. :>
thanks alot guys.

zdp lum costs more than 100, usually 160-200 range

stretch 2 and superhawk also can be found in same range, so all 3 knives are pretty much equal if you ask me.

trading a zdp lum for a stretch 2 or superhawk sounds pretty fair to me.

do not return it if all you are getting is 100, you will be losing out big.

i guess chines lum worth little more than i thought. i been thinking it worth little less than stretch ii or superhawk. if that's the case i guess i will try to trade them.
