I'm tired...

forum could follow that train of thought... long live No.9

Silenthunter: are those the crabs everybody up that (East Coast) way are so crazy about??? Like the ones in "As good as it gets" ??, that Jack Nicholson and whatzername are eating?? All we got's in da South is "blues" but I can eat a bucket or two of'em....

"I associate peace and quiet with Hoppes and antler dust"

This has to be the quote of the year for me! I love it.

I use three different type cleaners on the varmint rifles....mainly Hoppe's No.9...but also Sweet's 7.62 (nothing sweet smelling at all :barf: ) to remove the copper fouling.

The once a year another compound (dang-it can't remember the name) a bore paste that is like a lapping compound to remove ALL the copper.

Nothing like Hoppe's No.9...the real man scent!

I've been happy eating Dixie crabs (for the past couple years, MD has been getting crabs from down south). This year, I feasted on real, good old steamed, full, (heavy like a lead bar :))Maryland crabs! Probably because of the pollution, but hey, the "mustard" in those monsters is fantastic! Even the watery ones were good.

"I want crabs for Christmas, only crabs will do, I want crabs for Christmas, a bushel will do, Santa, I hope my wish'll come true..."

The Dundalk Christmas Song :D

Nobody has mentioned mammoth ivory dust, this is good stuff  I have grown to love this smell, it took some time though :p
Hoppe's #9 is a good one  also. My wife is bad about putting that lady smelling stuff in our shower and when you get that all over you, it ain't good :o

I make my wife buy me the Old Spice High Endurance gel soaps. Sure beats the smell of lavender, or dove soap. Yuck!

Nothing like Old Spice. I tend to stick to the less-fancy stuff. I use Skin Bracer, or the old school Aqua Velva. Remember the old "cold slap in the face" television ads?

Still, I think the best men's fragrances is from Bay Rum, and the whole selection of aftershaves and balms you get when you visit a real barber shop. Nothing like the feeling of hot lather on your neck and ears, and getting out of the chair clean and smelling good.

The only shampoo I could find this morning was some coconut smelling crap. So I used some Irish Spring. Give me good old no name Head and Shoulders bottled in the same plant shampoo. Conditioner? What the hell is that? Irish Spring I can stand.

Im with you....what the HELL is conditioner...and what is it really supposed to do....mystery of the ages....
