I'm trying to restore an old COLLINS fire axe

My eyesight is terrible - sorry about mistakes.
A friend and I are getting a COLLINS fire axe right hopefully.
I don't know if they are all Pulaski or not.
What we hope to do is get the paint right.
I have about 50 single and double axe heads, some hatchets , and my
knowledge certainly stops short of what paint and where to get it.
My stuff might be junk mostly but this head is my friend's.

There are a lot of guys who know about axes and such, but correct paint on a fire axe may be a long shot.

I dont think Tom is around much anymore. Atleast I havent heard from him. Hope he is.

Are you looking for the kind and type of paint, or the correct colors and their significance??
